This position is full-time and works approximately 40 hours per week.

Essential Functions


This project will focus on evaluating a new treatment device, including assessing optical imaging system performance, characterizing treatment planning and delivery systems, and evaluating imaging performance. Duties specific to this project will include: assisting and/or performing measurements; data analysis, interpretation, and presentation; attending meetings to discuss or present results. Position assists with research study, experiments, preparation of material, and documentation.


  1. Conducts research experiments and assays.
  2. Evaluates research results, reporting findings and discussing project outcomes with staff involved.
  3. Performs data entry and maintains data files on research.
  4. Complies with established safety procedures.
  5. Coordinates research project with other institutions and investigators.
  6. Participates in developing hypotheses to be tested and ways of testing it.
  7. Performs literature searches on specified topics.

Required Qualifications

Equivalent of bachelor’s degree with 2-3 years of experience in laboratory operations.

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to implement general laboratory procedures, conduct research, and record findings, with focus on pursuit of advanced education in field.

Salary Range

The hiring range for this position is $15.46 - $20.88 per hour.
