This position is full-time and works approximately 37.5 hours per week.

Essential Functions

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Postdoctoral Research Associate will work on research projects investigating the neural and psychological mechanisms of cognitive control, decision making, and learning. This will involve a combination of behavioral experiments, functional neuroimaging, and computational modeling.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Develop and run experiments, and analyze their data
  2. Write manuscript reporting on the results of the analyses described in #1.
  3. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should have a Ph.D. (or about to be awarded one) in psychology, neuroscience, or a related field, with a background that might include, but is not limited to cognitive control, decision making or learning.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive experience with neuroimaging analysis and computation modeling (reinforcement learning, connectionism, Bayesian modeling) is preferred.
  • Good programming and analysis skills. Ability to work as part of a team. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Salary Range

Base pay commensurate with experience.
