DeVry Education Group FWS Community America Reads in St. Louis, Missouri

Federal Work Study student workers assist with the America Reads Program. This program offers tutoring positions. America Reads focuses on helping children in pre-K through the 6th grade read independently and well. America Counts tutors work with children in pre-K through the 8th grade to help improve mathematical and problem-solving skills. Approved positions include Academic Support Student Assistant-Tutor/Peer Advisor (Reading only).

Greets students and assist in answering general questions.

Provides academic assistance and tutoring to students.

Completes other projects and duties as assigned.

  • Must be an enrolled student within one of the Adtalem family of Institutes.

High School diploma or equivalent

Must be a current student in good standing and possess a GPA of 2.0 or higher

Must be enrolled in a minimum of six credits per semester

FWS fund eligible

Computer skills and customer service attitude is critical
