The Boeing Company Experienced Thermal Analysis Engineer in St Louis, Missouri
Boeing is in need of an Experienced Thermal Analysis Engineer (Level 3) to support it’s St. Louis, MO based Thermal Engineering Team on 1st shift. This is a unique opportunity to join a team that provides thermal analysis, testing, & qualification support to a wide array of products including F-15, F/A-18, T-45, JDAM, SLAM, Harpoon, Unmanned Aircraft, and Phantom Works Programs.
Position Responsibilities:
Thermal Project Management
Thermal Finite Element Modeling
Air Flow Distribution Modeling
Liquid Flow Distribution Modeling
Cooling System Performance Analysis
Thermal Requirements Management & Coordination
Cooling System Lab Test Planning & Support
Flight Testing Planning & Support
Component Qualification Test Support And Documentation
Conceptual Thermal Design Development
This position is contingent upon program award.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship . An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
7+ years' experience in thermal and mechanical requirements
7+ years' experience in thermal analysis tools
Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
