Support environmental site characterization and remediation projects for clients across the globe and have a hand in transforming tomorrow.

As an Experienced Environmental Engineer you will have the chance to support site characterization and remediation projects for a range of clients located primarily in the Midwest region of the United States. The role will include a combination of technical planning, mentoring, project execution, and task management that will lead to additional opportunities for project and financial management. This role will provide technical leadership that includes development of project planning documents, technical deliverables, and coordination with clients, project teams, and subcontractors. Additional responsibilities include achieving successful completion of projects by ensuring that deliverables meet client expectations, tasks are delivered within budget as well as timely and accurate reporting of project performance against agreed

financial targets.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry with demonstrated ability to manage tasks supporting environmental site characterization and remediation.

  • Bachelor of Science in engineering (environmental, civil or related field).

  • Ability to demonstrate expertise in managing tasks and executing projects within the site characterization, construction management, and remediation segments of our business.

  • Ability to demonstrate a strong record in health and safety, including experience with behavior-based health & safety programs.

  • Knowledge of tasks that involve site characterization and remediation, including soil and groundwater sampling, soil logging, monitoring well construction, subcontractor oversight, and basic remediation systems. Possess strong writing, verbal communication, and leadership skills.

  • Must be able to obtain/maintain 40-hr HAZWOPER certification and demonstrate a strong commitment to Health and Safety.

  • Ability to perform field work in a variety of weather conditions.

  • Must be able be in the field up to 50%, including local sites and remote sites for up to 10 consecutive days.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Have passed the EIT exam or currently licensed as a Professional Engineer in Missouri, or the ability to obtain reciprocal licensure.

  • Master of Science in engineering field.

  • Self-motivated, team-focused professional self-starter
