This opportunity is full-time and works approximately 40 hours per week.

Located in The Center for Human Immunology and Immunotherapy Programs, shared resource laboratory, on the Medical School Campus.

Essential Functions


The Immunomonitoring Core Laboratory (IML) has an opportunity available to operate and maintain sophisticated imaging mass cytometer (Hyperion) and flow/mass cytometers (Fortessa and CyTOF) for biomarker analysis of research and patient-derived samples. Work in the lab includes cell culture and staining, buffer preparation, and routine equipment maintenance.

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have at least a bachelor’s degree in molecular biology, genetics, or related disciplines, and 2+ years of experience in a research laboratory setting. Candidates with additional experience and/or higher degrees are also encouraged to apply.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, and/or other tissue-based imaging techniques.
  • Experience working with cell culture, including primary patient material, is desirable.
  • Experience with standard computer software (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowePoint) is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with flow cytometry analysis platforms such as FlowJo or Cytobank is a plus.

Salary Range

Base pay commensurate with experience.
