Job Type/Schedule

This position is full-time and works approximately 40 hours per week.

This position is in the Department of Biological/Molecular Imaging. This position is for the Medical School Campus.

Essential Functions

We are looking for an imaging scientist who is energetic, highly motivated with a PhD/MD in pharmacology, neurobiology, biochemistry immunology, pathology, or molecular biology. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experiences in pharmacology, biochemistry, immunoassay, immunohistochemistry staining, molecular imaging, animal and radioactive material handling. Candidate should have good skills on anatomic tissue dissection. Projects involve preclinical and clinical validating molecular imaging contrast agents for predicting, staging diseases, monitoring the progress of disease, and therapeutic efficacy of diseases using different strategies. The candidate will write progress report quarterly to PIs and complete research manuscripts for publish. The successful candidate will have access to state-of-the-art laboratory equipment and departmental core facilities for molecular imaging, as well as to the great research community in one of the top medical schools in the USA.

Required Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in immunology, pathology, molecular biology, oncology, neuroscience, or pharmacology.
  • Strong communication skills, analytical abilities and a dedicated willingness for multi-task are essential for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with rodent dissection and animal handling will be a plus.

Salary Range

Base pay commensurate with experience.
