How will you make an impact?

You will be joining a team that plays a role in ensuring the production of quality products. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties to support the sites manufacturing at the STL site, including raw material sampling, inspections, and raw material dispositions. Other responsibilities may include drafting/revising procedures and raw material specifications, authoring deviation investigations, and managing chemical sampling inventory.

What will you do?

  • Perform inspections and/or sampling on incoming raw materials including gases.

  • General laboratory support functions such as ordering and stocking laboratory supplies, managing hazardous waste, and maintaining chemical retain inventory.

  • Draft/revise raw material specifications, standard operating procedures (SOP's), and

  • Draft/assist in deviation investigations.

  • Perform raw material reviews and dispositions.

  • New equipment initiation and preventative maintenance

How will you get here?

Education

  • Associates Degree in a science related field minimally required; Bachelor degree preferred.

Experience

  • 1-3 years of experience in a regulated laboratory environment, preferably in a pharmaceutical or cGMP environment

  • Raw material sampling experience preferred.

  • Basic technical writing skills (i.e. SOPs, training documents, etc.)

  • Experience with aseptic technique required.

  • Ability to work independently on routine tasks, needing supervision or support to resolve complex issues.

  • Ability to use standard computer programs such a MS Excel, Word, and Access

Additional Job Details

  • Ability to transition from 1st shift to 2nd shift, as necessary.
