The Neurodiagnostic Lab compliments Barnes-Jewish Hospital's Neuroscience division. Our Epilepsy Monitoring Unit is a Level IV Epilepsy Center, utilizing state of the art video monitoring equipment with a dedicated staff of Neurologists and Neurodiagnostic technologists.
Provides doctoral level neurophysiology expertise in the clinical neurophysiology EEG and EEG-video laboratories. Screens EEG and EEG-video data for background and epileptiform abnormalities.
Edits and screens EEG data and video for technical quality.
Manages non-medical patient flow issues.
Approves service contracts on EEG, EEG video and clinical neurophysiology equipment.
Integrates the findings of EEG and EEG video data into clinically meaningful interpretations.
Interacts with the staff to improve the quality of the studies.
