Aerotek Entry Level Lab Technician **Immediate Hire** in Earth City, Missouri
Looking for someone who can take samples of soil and water. They will do homogenization of soils, and add chemicals to water. They will add chemical and heat to create a precipitation. It is very crucial that they keep labels straight. They will be transferring samples to and from containers, and they must have good attention to detail. They will be trained on this when they first start on everything.
All positions will require a level of flexibility in the responsibilities. Ultimately they need someone who can take direction, can multi task and work with their hands. Technicians will be retrieving incoming materials, verifying labels, and sending samples out and prepping them for the technicians to work on. The waste management technician will be responsible for disposing of the samples in a safe way.
This job is perfect for someone who has an interest in this line of work, previously working in an inventory or restaurant type of experience and is flexible to learn along the way.

This team would prefer associate level science degrees, but realizes there are not as many out there, so would train someone who has interest in learning and growing within a lab environment. BS degrees in science may be too high level unless someone is removed from their degree (i.e. graduated with science years ago but has not worked in science/lab since then).
Proven track record of reliability (not job hoppy on their resume and have held down a job before), proven track record of showing up to work on time and consistently (verified through references), and a positive attitude (verified through screening process and references).
