Leggett & Platt, Incorporatedis seeking an Area Environmental, Health, & Safety Manager for our Bedding Division. The Area EH&S Manager position can be located at either of our facilities located in Carthage, MO or Sterling, IL.
What you’ll do
The Area EH&S Manager will be responsible for developing succinct and meaningful safety management reports to company leadership in order to accurately measure EH&S performance and appropriately direct efforts. Reporting to the Director of Environmental, Health, & Safety, this person will work with internal company functions and appropriate external safety management service providers.
Minimum qualifications
Minimum 5-10 years of experience overseeing environmental/safety/loss prevention efforts.
Preferred Qualifications
Manufacturing, distribution, and consumer product EHS experience a plus.
CSP or similar professional designation a plus.
