Then our paid summer internship position at Doe Run in Boss, MO may be a great opportunity.Located in Boss, MO the Resource Recycling Division is the largest secondary lead smelter in the world. Since its opening in 1991, the division and its employees have steadily increased the amount of lead-bearing material they recycle each year. The state-of-the-art recycling facility is the most advanced, environmentally sound, and safest of its kind in North America. Each year the facility recycles and recovers more than 100,000 tons of refined lead.Learning ObjectivesAt the end of the internship, students will have a clear understanding of the Chemical Engineering profession as it relates to the mining and milling industry in general and Doe Run in particular.
